Hey, it’s Jan 1st, 2010 and I have been at the office for a few hours now(it’s 10am). Came in to clean out files and prep for the new year. It’s funny how one day can make you think about your business and future more than any other. Technically Jan 1 is just another day…but it does get you thinking!!

Anyway, I did up a video for you, I am such a dork….

The New Year is fast Approaching!

boxWell 2009 is only a few days away from ending and I don’t know about you, but I am glad its over!

This year I saw many local businesses fall by the wayside, some a victim of the economy, and some the victim of the economy and their own ignorance.

Ignorance sounds harsh, but in too many cases a business owners own lack of willingness to change with the times was the major factor in their demise.

Of course there are still many businesses just hanging on by a thread, and the smallest of obstacles will trip them up and force them to close.

Banks are only lending to those who have superb credit and a high income to debt ratio…which is pretty damn stupid considering the biz’s that need it the most won’t get a dime!

On the bright side however, I have noticed an increase in consumer confidence which leads to more spending, and more and more business owners(the ones left!) are beginning to see the real benefit in marketing themselves…which leads to more money for us plus the opportunity to make a difference.

I, like so many small businesses have changed with the times as well. I have multiple businesses online and locally, and every one of them has gone through, or going through, a transition. What used to work no longer brings in the cash flow, and it has forced me to re-invent many aspects of each business.

The one HUGE advantage us small biz owners have is that we are flexible and can change rapidly…something that is not so easy for the larger companies! With that in mind we all need to stop and re-evaluate our companies and what our mission is…and especially how we add value to our customers. Our definition of value is not always what is perceived by our clients. The only sure fire way to know this, is to ASK.

If you don’t know what your customer considers value then you have a major problem, and could be why you don’t have the business you thought you would. VALUE is huge, as it dictates how busy you will be, how much you can charge, and most importantly it will yield positive results for your clients!

On the Offline Domination front, I took a short break this past week to recharge, but I am back full force trying to knock out the last modules so I can launch on the 11th as planned.

I have some more video’s to release leading up to the launch, so please, if you have any questions, make sure to leave a comment so I can address them asap!

Offline Domination VII

In this video I touch on why I am re-inventing my business to be a bit more automated.

Why Offline Domination?

I have received some emails asking “why” I am putting out Offline domination, and more importantly….”How can it make ME money?”

First, in answer to the “Why” question…I feel that it is time that someone stood up and was honest with people in the “offline” niche. As this niche has progressed over the past two years, there has been some outrageous claims, and tons of products have spawned.

Some of these products are great, while some just plain suck. As with anything in the “make money” niche, offline marketing has fallen prey to the same crap. Marketers are jumping on the bandwaggon, looking to make a quick buck off of newbies looking to make easy cash.

I will be the first to tell you(as I have many times before) that this niche is no different than any others…it takes work. Nothing is easy, and if someone tells you otherwise they are liars. It takes hard work, determination, and even a bit of luck to succeed.

Offline Domination is designed to outline the steps you can take to help ensure success for yourself. It will also help you brand yourself in your local market as the go to person for MARKETING. What this will do is create a market locally for you, where you won’t have to go crazy dealing with the wrong clients!!

Second, “will this make me money?” is the most important question, isn’t it? That’s what everyone wants to know when they purchase anything.  The short answer is YES.

Offline Domination is not a scheme, it is not even what you would call a “system”. It IS a blueprint for success. I cannot sit here and judge what everyone’s talent/skill level is. So, in my quest to make a product that can be of use to all, I felt I had to cover as much info as I could. Some of it will be elementary to you, while some info may be way advanced.

But I believe that by setting up your business properly from the start will have a huge impact on your earnings. It will determine the types of clients you get…which in turn will help you make the money you want.

This course will not TELL you what to do. It will SHOW you many different ways to set up and operate your business. It will go over many different business models, and YOU can pick which one works for you. Hell, my hope is that by going through the course you find a hybrid of techniques that you can fit to your own style and skills.

If you are looking for a step-by-step system that gives you everything and you just push a button and magically make money….go away. Unsubscribe from my list, please. I can’t help you.

Offline Domination is not something that ends once the course ends. It is a long term program that is designed for all levels of skill. Because it will be set up in the LocalBizBuilders.com forum, you will be able to interact directly with others going through the same thing as you.

Because business, technology and the economy is changing daily, things that work today might not work tomorrow. But once you are in the group, you get unparalleled attention.

Since no one has asked, I will state it here…MY goal is to have every person that gets the Offline Domination Course succeed and be making money within a month of the courses completion.

You will be able to run through the course at your own pace. The info will be there, and you are welcome to jump around. I do recommend you go through the course step by step, but I understand that some of it may not be of interest, but you will at least have access to everything should you want it.

Within the forum itself there will be an Offline Domination category, and all customers will gain instant access. This is where I will be putting continual information, and its not something that I plan to abandon once the course is over.

More to follow….

Part II-Know Your Customers

This video came out to about 16 minutes, so I cut it in half and will put it in two parts. It goes into knowing your clients needs and handling objections.

I also started a thread on the forum for everyone to list out objections they have heard before and their responses to those objections.

The key of course is to address them and take them away as an excuse! The link to the forum thread is HERE.

I, as always am interested in your feedback, so feel free to leave comments below.
